Calls to Artists
The Citadel Theatre has issued a call for submissions for the 2022/23 Mainstage Assistant Director Program.

Catalyst Theatre is now accepting applications for the third year of the annual CONFLUENCE Fellowship. The fellowship offers money, space and time as well as the opportunity for a BIPOC artist to be in an ongoing conversation with the creative and administrative team at Catalyst. Apply by June 30.

Alberta-based artists are invited to apply to become the government's next resident artist to promote art and artists across the province. Apply by July 12.

The Bleeding Heart Art Space has issued a call for submissions for their 2023 exhibit season. Submit by August 1.

APIRG is accepting applications for Event/Project/Research Funding. Grants are available up to a maximum of $2000. Some examples of past grant recipients include speaker or workshop series, publishable academic or journalistic research, and community events. Click here for more information. 

The National Film Board is currently accepting applications from emerging independent filmmakers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, NWT and Nunavut for the Filmmaker Assistance Program. Apply by July 4.

The Edmonton Folk Music Festival is currently accepting volunteer applications. New volunteers are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as volunteers are placed based on date of application, as well as availability, interests, and experience. Most volunteers are placed in May, though applications continue to be accepted until mid-July depending on availability. The festival is currently recruiting for Green Team, Festival Liaison, Public Gate, Security, Festival Kitchen, Site Production, Stage, and Traffic crews. Click here to apply.
