Calls to Artists
The Selkie Publications is accepting submissions of poetry, fiction, non-fiction and art/illustration for an anthology on the theme of resilience. 

The Works Art & Design Festival is now accepting proposals for major projects, group exhibitions, and environmental site-specific installations responding to the theme Yield. Submit by November 1. 

SkirtsAfire, along with Alberta Playwrights’ Network, is now accepting submissions for the eighth annual Peep Show!, a tease of new plays, to be presented at SkirtsAfire Festival. Submit by November 1.

The International Festival of Winter Cinema is accepting short and feature film submissions for the 2020 festival.

Reasearch Participation
Alberta Playwrights' Network invites all self-identifying playwrights at any level of experience to participate in a national research study surrounding new play development in Canada, ""Survey The Landscape: New Play Ecology in Canada." The anonymous feedback gathered here will generate an important first phase of research to create the foundation for the exploration to follow. The survey is available in both English and French, and closes November 15.
