Jupiter Theatre is accepting submissions of new plays for its 2019/2020 season. Apply by April 30.

#YEGFILM is seeking submissions for Evening Light Gallery. Apply by April 26 for May 30 - June 4 exhibition, and by May 30 for exhibition dates between July 11 - August 15.

Phenomania Arts Society is looking for stories and memories of Old Strathcona to inform short audio plays for Secret City: Old StrathconaSubmit yours by April 30.

Edmonton Made is accepting submissions from local artists for its 2019/2020 Gifted catalogue. Submit by April 30.

The Edmonton Arts Council seeks an Alberta, British Columbia, or Saskatchewan-based artist to participate in a three-stage project for Civic Precinct: Child Friendly Public Art Project. Apply by May 1.

Strathcona County’s Art Collection Advisory Committee is seeking submissions for its 2019 Art Acquisition Program. Apply by May 3.

The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies is accepting proposals for a research fellowship. Apply by May 6.

Edmonton Arts Council, City of Edmonton, and Edmonton Public Library are accepting Expressions of Interest for Edmonton’s Poet Laureate. Apply by May 6.

Femme Wave Feminist Arts Festival is accepting submissions from musicians, filmmakers, comedians, and visual artists. Apply by June 1.

University of Alberta is accepting applications for its 2020-2021 Writer in Residence. Apply by August 31.

Grant Opportunities
Canada Council for the Arts has a new Explore and Create grant program to assist new and early career artists with the grant application process, and provides them with access to grants they were previously not eligible for.

Applications for the MusiCounts TD Community Music Program are now open. Apply by April 18.

The VS. Arts grant is for Indigenous, Black, or POC musicians between the ages of 18-28 to record a debut EP. Apply by May15.

Edmonton Community Foundation is accepting applications for its Young Edmonton Grants program. Artists age 13 - 24 can 
apply by May 15.
