From the long, warm days of summer to the bright and chilly days of winter, there are over 150 performances and arts events brought to you by the Edmonton Arts Council every year. 

Whatever the season, we can take you on a culture trip. That includes concerts, visual art experiences, performing art shows and more. In 2022, the Edmonton Arts Council helped bring more than 75 Green Shack Shows and 13 parades to life. And there’s more to come this year. 

So, lace up your skates accompanied by live DJs and bands in the winter. March along with our Festival in a Box parades across the city. Stop by a City of Edmonton Green Shack for a dance lesson, puppet show or concert. And virtually any day of the year you can come down to Churchill Square to take part in daily programming. There’s zumba classes on the Square, festivals of all kinds, live music and more to discover.
