Brett Hansen Album Release: Confluence

Brett Hansen is an Edmonton based guitarist, composer, and producer and is a prominent member of the Alberta music community. He has performed with the likes of Robi Botos, Gil Goldstein, PJ Perry, Mike Rud, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and many others in addition to sharing stages with Blue Rodeo, AQUA, Blue Oyster Cult, and more.

On this special night Brett is pleased to be releasing his long awaited debut album as a bandleader entitled Confluence. The music on this album is vast, rhythmic, melodic, emotional, and intriguing and is a merging of folk and rock styles with jazz/​improvised music. It was recorded with some of Canada’s best musicians (Chris Pruden-Piano/Keyboards, Murray Wood-Bass, Joel Jeschke-Drums, Luis Tovar-Percussion) and was co-produced by award winnining singer, songwriter, and producer Mallory Chipman and Juno winning engineer and producer Paul Johnston. Brett invites you to join him in this celebratory night of music.
