Botanical Illustration with Lara Call Gastinger

Delta Art and Drafting is delighted to invite you, and anyone else who may be interested, to a free Zoom session featuring internationally recognized botanical artist and illustrator Lara Call Gastinger on June 24 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM MST. 

Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, Lara is widely recognized for her botanical illustration work, including serving as the chief illustrator for Flora of Virginia. She is also known for teaching her inspiring perpetual journal practice, which encourages curiosity, observation, and a deeper connection to the natural world through sketching and reflection. 

This engaging session will explore botanical sketchbook studies, nature observation, and creative journaling practices that participants can incorporate into their own artistic journeys. Lara will also be sharing insights from her newly published book, A Perpetual Journal Practice.
