Guys in Disguise Classic: A Fundraiser for Workshop West

Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre is gearing up for our annual fundraiser on Friday, June 5^th at 7:30pm at The Gateway Theatre. 

This year, we’re thrilled to have one of Edmonton’s most dynamic creative companies, Guys in Disguise, presenting a throwback evening of classic drag — think vintage cabaret meets Old Hollywood glamour with a wink, fabulous lashes, and local Drag Queen legends, Twiggy, Pepper, and Vanity Fair! Hosted by Darrin Hagen, expect a classy show, and a sassy Meet-the-Queens talk back! 

There will be a silent auction with items from some of the city’s hottest spots and artists, snacks, beverages, and more!

Date: Friday, June 5^th, 2026 

Showtimes: Doors at 7pm, show at 7:30pm

Venue: The Gateway Theatre (8529 Gateway Blvd NW) 

Cost: Tickets are Pay-What-You-Will. Suggested individual ticket price is $40.
