Still Life

Evoking the forms of ancient Grecian and Roman urns and amphorae, this sculpture was inspired by a visit to New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Drawing on imagery found in classic ​“still life” paintings, the sculpture incorporates bright colours and fruit imagery as well as a wine glass stem to create a bright oasis in the Belgravia Art Park.
