Beyond Brushes and Paint: A Conversation with the Artist of North of 50°

North of 50° opens June 8, 2025 (running until August 29, 2025). The exhibit tells a story of Alberta through a selection of landscapes captured in vivid colour – all above the 50^th parallel. North of 50° invites you to explore Alberta’s mountains and lakes, and how Alberta’s light changes season to season.

On June 8, we welcome you to join artist Yuanita Klatt in the south atrium for a conversation about self-discovery, hope, and finding inspiration through art. Go behind the scenes to learn more of the process behind creating the pieces including: on-site photography, layering acrylics with glaze, and enjoying the great outdoors.
