Edmonton Classical Guitar Society presents Daniela Rossi, Classical Guitar

Daniela Rossi is a distinguished classical guitarist from Bahía Blanca, Argentina, who is currently based in the United Kingdom. She has won many competition awards, including first prizes in the London International Guitar Competition and the prestigious Luis Sigall International Music Competition in Viña del Mar, Chile, and now enjoys a flourishing performing and recording career. Celebrated for her expressive artistry, she has been described by composer-guitarist Leo Brouwer as ​“a performer with a very rare combination of energy, expression and perfect technique.” 

This concert will be an extra special evening: it marks another launch of Daniela Rossi’s album ​“Homages — Music by John W. Duarte” (Brilliant Classics) and is also a preview of her upcoming Naxos CD, ​“Dusan Bogdanovic: Works for Solo Guitar,” exactly one week before its worldwide release.
