Join the Edmonton Recital Society for their 2023 – 24 Season!
The ERS is a registered, incorporated non-profit music society and registered charity, dedicated to enhancing Edmonton’s artistic and cultural life with world-class concerts in intimate settings. Most performing artists have connections to Edmonton and many are local up-and-coming stars.

Duo Ventapane, October 29, 2023 at 2:00PM
Based in Montréal, pianist Martin Karlícek and violinist Mana Shiraishi have presented concerts all over the world and the ERS is happy to present their Edmonton debut.
In Remembrance: with Lizzy Hoyt and Lisa Rumpel, November 5, 2023 at 7:30PM
The ERS’ annual “In Remembrance” concert this year features Edmontonian mezzo-soprano Lizzy Hoyt, who now calls Winnipeg home. The winner of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and lauded by Opera Canada for her dramatic depth, Lizzy comes to perform this special ERS event with pianist, Lisa Rumpel.
Tanya Prochazka Memorial Concert, February 15, 2024 at 7:30PM
ERS’ annual Tanya Prochazka Memorial Concert is an extra special one this year, with hometown superstars David Eggert and Andrew Wan coming back and joining forces for this performance! They will be performing cello and violin duos, and will be joined by Sarah Ho on piano for Beethoven’s beautiful Archduke Trio.
A Celebration of Women, March 10, 2024 at 2:00PM
In presentation with the MacEwan University Conservatory of Music, ERS celebrates all things women with this concert that is filled with amazing female musicians!
The Eddins Family in Recital, May 26, 2024 at 2:00PM
ERS’ final show of the season features William Eddins, well-known to Edmonton audiences for his role as the former [now Emeritus] Music Director of the ESO. He comes to perform this concert for us alongside his wife, Jennifer Gerth, the Principal Clarinetist of the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra.
