Mark Templeton "Inner Light" album release with K. Burwash

9910 is proud to present… Mark Templeton ​“Inner Light” Album Release

An early show of meditative, blissed out, abstract electronic music with live performances by Mark Templeton and k.burwash.

Mark Templeton will be performing an audiovisual set of ​“INNER LIGHT” — a set of sampled based sounds from 70s — and 80s — era meditation and religious cassettes that came into his possession. Originally made to foster relaxation and well-being in a liturgical setting, the recordings now have a lysergic skew, as if heard underwater during the immersion of a baptism — a sonic lustration. The album will be released on cassette and digitally later this month on the enmossed label. Copies of the album will be available.

k.burwash, the founder of Listen Records and Edmonton modular synth artist, will be performing live with the system used in creating his new album ​“echoes of enlightenment”. The triple cassette will be released on the We, Here and Now! label. In his live performances, k.burwash explores the impermanence of sound to compose mind-bending tracks that conjure up swirling, luminescent mental imagery.
