Peace Walk with Elder Lorette

In partnership with Mamawi Nipawiwin Standing Together, Edmonton’s Chinatown BIA and Communities, please come join us for a peace walk with Elder Lorette on Sunday, June 22 from 11:30AM — 3:30PM. We will be meeting at 11:30AM at McCauley Community Garden (9528 107A Ave) and ending back at the McCauley Community Garden at 3:30PM. Please bring along a picnic blanket or lawn chair.

Free event — everyone is welcome!

Additional ceremonial activities include: 

• Fire building
• Walk through Chinatown with drumming and songs
• Performances by Dancing Cree, hoop dancing by Alicia Cardinal & lion dance by Jing Ying
• Make bannock on a stick with Emma-Leigh Snow
• A cultural feast featuring businesses in Chinatown
