Join River City Big Band on Sunday, May 5 at The Yardbird Suite, 11 Tommy Banks Way. Doors open at 7:00PM, performance begins at 8:00PM
In the concert’s first half, you will hear six new works commissioned by River City Big Band from composers Craig Brenan, Tom van Seters, Joel Toews, Stephanie Urquhart, Reid Contreras Woelfle and Simon Williams.
The concert’s second half will be the world première of Gustav Holst’s “The Planets”, reimagined for Big Band by internationally renowned composer and arranger Allan Gilliland. This epic work, three years in the making, is sure to be an “out of this world” performance. Pricing
