The Beatles Re-imagined!

Join the Don Berner Big Band for their performance of The Beatles Re-imagined! on March 20, 2027 at 7:30pm at the Muttart Theatre(Basement, Stanley A. Milner Library).

The biggest band of the 20^th century meets the biggest band in Edmonton, when the unforgettable hits of the Beatles are performed by the Don Berner Big Band! Special guest musical director Raymond Baril takes the reins of the DBBB for this unforgettable performance alongside special guest artist Robert Walsh. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison’s most beloved songs come to life in this one time only event! This project is supported by the Edmonton Arts council, the City of Edmonton, the Edmonton Downtown Business Association and the Alberta Government through the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.

The Don Berner Big Band is the city of Edmonton’s flagship large jazz ensemble. An Edmonton jazz favourite for over a decade, the Don Berner Big Band became the first professional large jazz ensemble in Edmonton to have a fully programmed concert season in 2021. Featuring Edmonton’s best jazz musicians, the Don Berner Big Band presents an eclectic season drawing from classic big band and swing repertoire, collaborations with contemporary and pop artists, adaptations of works from other mediums, and more with a variety of special illustrious guests, all presented in the Muttart Theatre in the heart of Downtown Edmonton!
