About
Join Edmonton visual artist Thomas Wier to “build worlds” like those featured in his many works. Using sculpturing materials and ready made creative pieces, Thomas will guide participants through the process of envisioning a world and bringing it into 3D focus through the use of panoramic photography. Through this activity, participants will explore the creative process, and learn more about what inspires Thomas in his own work.
Thomas Weir is an artist working in Amiskwaciwâskahikan, he recently started his year long term as the Artist in Residence at the McLuhan House Studio Program in the Highlands neighbourhood and exhibited his artwork in a three person exhibit titled re:invention at Gallery501 in Sherwood Park, AB. In 2025 Thomas will be an emerging artist in residence at The Society of Northern Alberta Printmakers (SNAP) in Edmonton, AB.
