About
For two days only, join the Edmonton Transit Service for their annual Holiday Lights Tours on December 12 and 14!
Tour highlights include Candy Cane Lane, the Alberta Legislature and some amazing vistas of Edmonton. Tours leave promptly at their scheduled departure time and are approximately two hours in length. Food bank donations will be dropped off at Candy Cane Lane.
All tours depart from the west entrance of City Hall. There will be a brief layover of 20 – 30 minutes at Government Centre Transit Centre for guests to view the lights on the Legislature grounds.
Important Notes for 2025. Please read before purchasing tickets:
Tickets will go on sale in-person at 10:00AM on Tuesday, November 18. All/any remaining tickets will go on sale online and by telephone at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 18. While tickets will be available by telephone, we recommend purchasing in-person or online. Due to an overwhelming demand for the Holiday Lights Tour, we will not respond to voicemail inquiries for Holiday Lights Tour tickets on November 18.
Space is limited on board, and each bus can accommodate up to 2 wheelchairs, other mobility devices, or strollers. Guests who require this space must call EAC Shop & Services to purchase an “Accessible Ticket” to ensure there is enough space on board. Guests who require this space and do not present an Accessible Ticket may only board once all other guests have boarded and if space permits.
Please note: These tours are not recommended for small children as they must remain seated while the bus is in motion.
